August Eclipses: a midsummer night’s dream

“you are the infinite, temporarily given a name”

As I’m writing this healing letter for August, we’ve entered in the (new) Eclipses season and stepped into the threshold of second part of 2026 changes. This year, Eclipses are a bit early in the game (the first pair of Eclipses were in February instead of spring and now, the 2nd pair comes in the middle of summer instead of autumn) which in my view signifies the incredible soul urge to…move us forward without waiting for our natural hesitations.

It’s been quite a year, darlings. I know you feel the same. For me, for you, for the world as a collective. It feels like these first 7 months were packed with all sorts of endings and new beginnings we were not able to fully understand or steer into our own lives. We were given glimpses in what lays ahead while abrupt endings made us question the path we’re on.

Eclipses have already started to show their power since July 29th, with the Full Moon in Aquarius announcing the unravelling of a new set of energies (fire & air) in our lives, individually and collectively. For the next 18 months, Aquarius will govern our soul urge, whether we want it or not. This is not an easy energy for the inflated or hurt ego. This is freedom from all ties and the path of becoming…nobody better than the other one.

Now we might feel extremely dizzy, foggy and confused after the Pisces journey since January 2025, but there is not time for rest. Work must be done for the collective.

How far can you go beyond the confines of your self?

Aquarius North Node will want us to:

uplift our own conscience to a higher level, and this also means the way we think and speak to ourselves and to others. Telepathy is also involved, yes.
free our soul from expectations and old patterns or be prepared to be taken out from ecosystems and circumstances who we don’t resonate with anymore.
reinvent the path we’re on (remember the energies you felt during February’s Eclipse and reflect on what was happening back then in your life)
- model a new reality in work and career. Pisces-Virgos (also the axis of work and employment) have dismantled our professional egos with a purpose. The purpose is now revealed, Aquarius wants us to move forward, embrace technology and humanitarian pursuits, find new ways of expression in the world and offer our best selves to bigger causes. You need to answer a different type of call for adventure.
- model another path in love or more precisely, to choose the right path in love. Some relationships will end because the attachment strategy and egos can no longer glue 2 souls who are only earning to be free again to grow. The relations that will be favoured are the ones ready to take it to the next level, with a leap of faith and courage like never before. True love is interdependence, the quality to grow with the other while being a witness to his/her ascension and evolution. - model a new relation with our inner child but also with the children around us. What is the joy of life and how are you protecting the Divine childhood in you and around you?
cultivate courage instead of ego, and generosity instead of narcisist behaviours. It might start with you donating your free time to various causes or just plain generosity to the people that are less lucky than you. Find the role you need to have in the greater humanitarian vision.

The quality of time in August is quite intense…yes, I know you didn’t want to read this, but here we are and you know I’m honest. The Eclipses make this month a very important manifestation timeline for both what’s ended and also what’s beginning. But it’s just a timeframe we need to navigate with that unshakeable trust that life happens for us, and everything good is coming our way to hold us and teach us how to arrive in a better place.

Eclipses are pathways of acceleration and manifest a very unstable energy. Not even us, experienced astrologers can pinpoint exactly what will happen. We can see the general themes, yes, but the Eclipses are their own rulers. They always come in pairs and sometimes they speak with different energies, one is asking us to release and the other one to receive. Life is always like the sea tides, some things come and some things go.

The First Eclipse happens around August 12th and it’s a potent one as it is a total solar eclipse in the sign of Leo, close to the South Node in Leo. We currently have a huge concentration of Leo activation (Jupiter, Sun and South Node). This means there is a time for shake-ups and break-ups, but also for breakthroughs. The phenomenon will be visible in many areas in Europe, which also means European leaders might be under scrutiny and a possible change of leadership is in preparation. Watch out for Spain…I will not say more as this is not a message regarding global politics…

I am extremely positive about this Eclipse in Leo as this quietly marks the beginning of the 18 month soul journey in Aquarius-Leo nodes. So wherever you have 20-21 degree Leo (and Aquarius) in your birth chart (and progressive chart) and fixed sign placements (which mean Taurus, Scorpio), change is about to be accelerated in your life. Of course, we astrologers look at the entirety of the chart for predictions, but this is an essential glimpse in what the Eclipse energy might bring for you.

How you can take care of yourself during the Total Solar Eclipse.

1.Identify and release energetically and intentionally old patterns around visibility, self-worth, and creative expression. It’s about the ego release now, but also about identifying what’s true about your inner gifts to the world.

For the next 18 months, anything that’s true and valuable about you must be put in the service of greater causes, places, contexts, communities. You are ready to do this, and you are also requested to do this (by Saturn).

2.Eclipses are times when acceleration needs energy, it’s just like you see a rocket leaving for space. It needs the initial ignition to be powerful enough to rise. This means your energetic body is also releasing a lot of energy, and you need to be gentler with your resources during this time. Sleep more, go to fewer and less crowded places, spend time in nature (the sun and the sea are preferable right now), eat quality food (especially nutritious, fruits, citrus, honey, warm spices) and clean your energy as often as you can (with salt and long baths). Opt for gentler ways to move your body (walks, yoga, pilates, swimming). Maybe wear sun-kissed crystals like citrine, carnelian.

3.With Saturn retrograde stabilising and the Part of Fortune protecting the Solar Eclipse, expect plot twists with a BANG. And yes, you might be the plot twist in somebody else’s story. The project and career that you missed might come back. The trip that was cancelled might be happening after all. The soul urge to contribute to a creative endeavour is accelerated even more. Le coup the foudre relationship that was not in the cards at the beginning of this year might just be the thing that turns your life and routine upside down in an instance and you need to be brave to jump on the train even though the destination is not yet visible. Believe the best things are coming your way and put yourself in the energy of solar energy, happiness, love and generosity.

But there’s a trick here. And not everybody will see it. Saturn is Retrograde, which means the process requires a deep, inner work of maturity, responsibility and respect for the time it needs to unfold. So…listen to your inner authority, look beyond the flashy and decide what needs to be done.

This is not a time for the easy, this is a time for what’s needed. And you will be needed in places and spaces that are very different from what you might expect. Put yourself out there in the service of others and you will shine.

The 2nd Eclipse though is much more of a God-given closure. It wants to end the energies of the past 18 months that were defining the Axis Pisces-Virgo. Dismantling our inner structures and lives so that the next 18 months can create a new space inside our soul. The Eclipse is a partial lunar one, happening at around 4 degrees Pisces on August 28th, but standing right on top of one of the luckiest and most benefic fixed stars, Fomalhaut. You’ll be invited to leave behind a spiritual belief that confines you in a place your Soul doesn’t want to be anymore. And also…let an old dream die, your Soul wants new dreams now. The Eclipse is aspected positively by Chiron in Taurus and Mars in Cancer. A heart healing of some sorts will come your way, according to your own reality and context.

How you can take care of yourself during the Partial Lunar Eclipse.

1.Make a list or meditate on the past 18 months of your life. This is the time to understand the blessings you have received even in the toughest of the moments. It will feel like a soul release and also comforting for what’s closing. The energy is quite erratic and unpredictable as it involves both Mercury and Uranus speaking in a conversation of tension. Whatever closes now is a blessing and lets you enter the new phase of your life lighter. The Eclipse watched by Fomalhaut might give you a higher understanding of life and a better goal to reach for.

2.Try to eat less, I encourage you to even opt for total fasting during the day of the Eclipse. In this way, you make a clearer path towards the Divine and its messages for you. Go towards still water places. Release whatever grudges you might feel towards certain people in your life. Toxic feelings will only poison you.

July and Jupiter in Leo: your heart will leave undeniable evidence

It’s finally July and both the heart and the ego want to come forward. How do we meet with one another in this perfect storm between the 2 eras (the old and the new one) is really the question.

The answer, I think, is in the way we are open (or learn to) receive each other. You can’t meet the other with your mind only. You need to meet him/her with the heart.

And this is where most of the work for the next 13 months resides: the heart.

As I’m writing these lines, I am back in Bucharest, trying to settle my energy into the old matrix I call (my) life. After several weeks of intensity, I am finally resting in my own source (and sauce). I am leaving this week for an energetic camp (tibetan reiki), as a new threshold is upon me and the people I surround myself with or that are under my protection.

While on the verge of the final layer of change which will happen at the end of this month, we finally feel that long overdue processes and relations are now finding their much needed dissolution.

Until the Nodes of Destiny switch gear from Pisces-Virgo (the axis of work and healing and endings) to Aquarius-Leo (the axis of the heart and the higher consciousness) around July 29th, we are now charging our souls with the Jupiterian energy in Leo and processing the last structures of attachments with Mercury retrograde in Cancer.

A lot of heart opening energies while we also mourn for our old structures of feeling, perceiving, attaching or running (the famous runner-chaser pattern). And the healing will happen at the same time with the new doors opening ahead of us.

Jupiter in Leo opens up a different type of healing and growth.

For a long time, healing may have meant protecting the heart, softening the survival strategies, returning to the inner child, rebuilding trust, learning to belong to ourselves before belonging anywhere else. The heart was hidden within a strong sanctuary.

But now…hearts will need to be open again with courage and a higher level of consciousness from both parties involved: the feminine and masculine. Until July 25th, 2027, the rite of passage for the heart and the ego will bring forward themes of visibility, performance, creative identity, public influence, personal myth, but all in the service of the great collective.

In astrology, we tend to look at previous cycles to inform the next cycles with some sort of predictability. This time though, Jupiter in Leo arrives in a world that is very different from the world of 2014. The attention economy has matured. Leadership is no longer contained only in institutions; it moves through networks, communities, images, stories, movements, podcasts, newsletters, salons, retreats, classrooms, private rooms, boardrooms, online spaces, and the strange new intimacy of being known by people who may never meet us.

The energy of Jupiter in Leo can put you on the stage, but it cannot guarantee maturity. It can amplify charisma, but not necessarily integrity. It can increase confidence, but it can also inflate the ego. It can bring recognition, opportunity, applause, creative momentum, romance, joy, leadership, influence, and a more theatrical relationship with life.

This time, Jupiter in Leo is the transit of the heart’s education.

In its lowest manifestation, Leo is the sign of vanity, spectacle, pride, and self-importance. But at its highest level, Leo is the dignity of being alive. Leo is the solar principle inside the psyche: the power to radiate from one’s own center rather than borrow light from someone else’s approval. Leo is the courage to create. The courage to love openly. The courage to play. The courage to be generous. The courage to stand in front of others and offer something warm, vital, human, memorable.

And Leo rules the heart. The Heart is an organising intelligence. It tells the body what matters. It brings rhythm to life. It gives direction to warmth. And Jupiter in Leo comes to widen these permissions.

For women, and especially for women who lead, create, guide, hold space, build businesses, steward communities, mentor others, raise children, protect families, organise teams, repair invisible fractures, and carry emotional knowledge across generations, this transit has a particular force.

The woman behind the system begins to be seen as the system’s heart.

The one who held the room begins to enter the room as herself. This is leadership as warmth with backbone, the ability to animate people toward meaning.

In love, Jupiter in Leo can reopen the romantic imagination. It can bring warmth, desire, generosity, play, fertility, theatrical affection, and the courage to be adored. But it can also reveal where love is nothing but ego and foolish games. Some may attract dramatic relationships that mirror unhealed needs for attention. Some may feel the return of passion after a long emotional winter. Some may crave a love that celebrates them rather than merely depends on them.

In work and vocation, Jupiter in Leo can expand leadership, visibility, entrepreneurship, education, public roles, creative authority, and the desire to be recognised for one’s unique contribution. It supports those who are willing to put their name on their work. It favors personal methodologies, signature projects, bold positioning, artistic leadership, public speaking, teaching, storytelling, performance, and any work that requires confidence in one’s own creative center.

But again, Jupiter will demand wisdom. Overpromising is a Jupiter shadow. Expanding too fast without infrastructure is a Jupiter shadow.

In money and value, Jupiter in Leo can increase the desire to invest in beauty, pleasure, luxury, children, art, experiences, education, celebration, travel, visibility, and creative projects. It can bring financial growth through personal talent, leadership, entertainment, education, branding, performance, design, hospitality, and creative industries. But it can also bring excess spending, speculative risk, vanity investments, or the temptation to buy symbols of self-worth instead of building real self-worth.

In the body, Jupiter in Leo invites us back into embodied joy. Leo is linked symbolically with the heart and the spine, and the transit asks us to examine both: the emotional heart and the posture of dignity. This is a year to take the body out of punishment and into celebration.

In friendships and community, Jupiter in Leo brings a paradox that becomes especially important as the lunar nodes shift onto the Aquarius–Leo axis at the end of July. Leo wants to shine as an individual. Aquarius asks what the individual contributes to the collective. Leo says, “This is my heart.” Aquarius says, “How does your heart serve the future?”

This axis will become one of the defining evolutionary teachings of the next eighteen months. With the North Node moving into Aquarius and the South Node into Leo, with Pluto serving in Aquarius, the collective lesson is not to erase individuality, but to purify it.

With Jupiter opposing Pluto, the work of expansion is far from being soft and it brings the need for deep transformation of power, influence, wealth and leadership.

Practising receiving is also part of the story with Jupiter in Leo. Leo is a sign of generosity, but also of reception. So…be ready to play the dance of the heart and of authentic, solar joy.

July’s quality of time and how to process the energetic corridors ahead of us

1.Mercury will be retrograde in Crab until July 23rd-24th. It is one of the 3 stages of final release we get during 2026. The chance to let go of the past and of our past versions we can’t bring into the new era anymore. Past relationships, business contexts, behaviours, choices, a lower level of consciousness and of heart emission will not cross the line into the Aquarius driven energies. Use this time to make peace with yourself, with what you can no longer feel or choose, with your family and emotional hive. Declutter both externally and internally. July 14th New Moon in Crab (in conjunction with Mercury Retrograde in Crab) will accelerate the release and internal realisations.

2.Prepare for your BIG change of Destiny. The end of July brings the end of all endings and the new door we need to step through because our soul made a promise long ago. I will be back with a dedicated newsletter on the Aquarius-Leo energies, but for now just make sure the last structures that need releasing are on your mind but off your soul. July prepares us for the season of Eclipses which this year will happen in Mid-End of August. The lighter you come into the season, the more accelerated it will become for you.

3.The Aquarius Full Moon on July 29 brings the polarity into full illumination. The Moon in Aquarius is close to Pluto, while the Sun in Leo is close to Jupiter. This is a powerful, emotionally intense lunation. It can magnify the tension between personal desire and collective responsibility, between the need to be recognised and the need to belong, between creative sovereignty and social consequence. It may bring revelations around friendships, groups, audiences, organisations, communities, platforms, movements, or the power dynamics inside networks.

This is not a month to be static or balanced. This is a month of active releasing and courage to make space for the new. In our hearts, lives and relations.
