Women Are Healing Bali

I’ve have never felt like being liked, wanted, appreciated. Even in the safest places, in my family, at work, with my friends and communities, with my significant other, there was always something missing. I constantly felt unease and unrest, the “un-belonging”. Like I wasn’t seen with my authentic me.

I navigated many places, with many faces, and the feeling stayed with me.

Yes, therapists would say this comes from within, from the inner work we do (or do not) with ourselves. Well…in my opinion, it’s partially true, and their view is limited to their own profession. There are still a lot of factors outside of us that pressure us to break down and feel isolated. It’s not that simple, my dear psychotherapists our there. We don’t live in systems of collaboration and communion, but in separation, competitiveness, individualism. Personal achievement is praised over community thriving. Comparison is induced since early beginnings through family, school, society. Not to mention astrology, she, my dears impact us a lot. Birth chart, transits, progressions, everything pours into our own cup of sensitivities until…we break down.

Now, getting back to feeling rejected and not being part of something. Looking into my astrology, this feeling of rejection and unease definitely has an explanation, even from various angles and planets. But astrology (and what happens to us) is really here to support us in making us more resilient, training us be more persistent and…relearning how to love ourselves and let others love us as well.

There is this wonderful book on psychogenealogy by Chantal Rialland that speaks about finding our own place. In ourselves, in relation to our family and origins, with loved ones and friends and within a community.

If it’s happiness we are looking for and being fulfilled, it’s imperatively needed to find our own “place”. And this place varies along our life. It’s one thing to have a place as a child, another one as an adult. As needs evolve, the place and its coordinates evolves.

Now…at one point I decided that creating this own place was a quicker, smarter, easier strategy to feeling like I belonged. As we are navigating in this time of Pluto in Aquarius, we will be more and more, actively looking for our tribes and places of belonging. We will search for each other. Well, our minds and hearts will do that for ourselves.

 

One of the places I decided to build is Women Are Healing.Up until now, an online community serving women leaders formally and informally. Now, a community that starts gathering offline as well starting this autumn, in my heart-home: Bali.

May, the sanctuary we are waiting

As we step timidly in the last month of what should have been a more balanced (in temperatures) spring, all hearts around me keep asking me: “Roxana, is May going to be better that April?”

Well…my answer stays the same: it’s never better or worse; it’s how we need it to be. Radical acceptance, right?!

Fresh out of many plane travels across multiple timezones, I rest my body now near my cat, in my home sanctuary, far from the busy streets of Europe and closer to the Godly energy of Rebirth of Jesus. Whether you are Ortodox or not, this end of the week brings a new chance of redemption and light.

Yes, May will give us a breather. Like those arms of the Godly energy that hold you while you are lost or tired.

But don’t get me wrong, May is also full of cosmic events. A shift towards the summery vibes will be more palpable now. The month alchemizes 2 very different energies: Taurus and Gemini. One builds and stabilises whatever we initiated under the Aries season and Gemini spreads, explores, rejoices, gossips. Fix energy blends with mutable energy. Earth with Air. Only when analysing elements we can get a glimpse of how adaptability and acceptance are the smart ways to cultivate the inner authority.

Jupiter, the Master Manifestor and the The Great Luck Bringer will close its cycle in Taurus energy, where it rejoiced and brought us abundance and tangible gains. Now Jupiter steps into Gemini, the Manifestor of the Mind & Communication. For the next year starting the end of May, we are invited to analyse our beliefs, mental patterns, how we communicate (and yes, also gossip), how we interact with others and explore life, networks, ideas. If you have a book on your mind, write it! If you want to teach, jump on the wagon! If you are planning a trip to faraway lands, act on it! (wink wink)

The “I am worthy” season

I AM WORTHY. 

This is a phrase I would like to hear from all of you, about yourself. I know we’re not living, as women, in systems that celebrate our uniqueness, kindness, creativeness. We’ve got a long road ahead in changing those systems and environments towards nurturing, love-centred ones. And this road starts with us, our inner worth and how we afirm it and reafirm it over and over again so we don’t forget, so others don’t forget that…

WOMEN. WE ARE WORTHY. ANYTIME. ANYWHERE. ANYHOW.

Astrologically, we are on the verge of stepping into Taurus season, the blooming season as I call it, at the end of this week. The Sun will leave Aries for Taurus, where it will remain until May 20th/21st. The fire energy slows down and we begin to yearn for Mother Earth, feet on the ground and rest in fields of flowers. The gifts of the Taurus season are so diverse: tranquility, groundness, abundance, lavish lavish. Slow down, prioritise the seeds you want to turn into flowers in your own life. We rest a bit after the Eclipse season. Make time for pleasure, for the senses, for your abundance (yes, money included). Re-learn to go back within and restructure your energy. Aries season kind of rushed us into a lot of pouring out. Now it’s time to re-charge. Mercury is still retrograde in Aries until April 25th, but it looses its effect as we are changing fire for earth.

What is pleasure and indulgence for you? How can you create more solid foundations for growth, money, love? Consolidate and nurture your dreams and goals, refocus where you defocused. Work on feelings of self-esteem and self-worth.

Expansion meets Innovation on 18-21 April

All astrologers are talking about the rare Jupiter and Uranus meeting point this April 18th to 21st. They will conjunct at 21 degrees in Taurus, the degree of the dove. Jupiter expands, Uranus awakens and disrupts, releases. Both cultivate the potentiality of the future. Their meet-up in Taurus will impact us on a collective level in terms of money, abundance, earth, environment, agriculture and many more of the themes of this sign. On a personal level, this is a powerful new chapter of novel and fortune.

The ideas of what success is are changing. We are slowly coming back to the original definition of abundance, in all its forms.
